Department of State answers FOIA Complaint in Terry v. DOS

Nothing substantive here. Basically, Department of State acknowledged it received the FOIA request and "admits that is has not issued a final response to Plaintiffs’ June 30, 2016 FOIA request with any determination as to whether it will release the requested records."

The last part of State's answer hit me strangely, given that Kent Terry is the brother of the slain Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. I won't comment on it, but will leave you with this:

The remainder of the Complaint consists of Plaintiffs’ claims for relief, to which no response is required. To the extent that a response is required, Defendant denies that Plaintiffs are entitled to any of the relief requested, or to any relief whatsoever.

You can read the answer here.
