New Jersey requests 30 day extension, gets 15.
Today the Court granted, in part, New Jersey's second request for an extension of time to respond to the Taser complaint we filed back in August. You can read the Order here. NJ filed their request last Friday at 7PM. It is basically requested another 30 days to develop legal theories. Washington D.C. agrees to pay $93,506.62 in attorneys' fees in Taser case
"Defendants will pay Plaintiffs ’attorney fees in the amount of $93,506.62 ,plus $615.17 of expenses." Read the notice here. This was a case that was filed in D.C. District Court where the D.C. government decided to not fight and instead is fixing its unconstitutional law. As you know, we have a Taser case pending in New Jersey District Court right now. Wonder what it is going to cost New Jersey? Good job George Lyon. What an excellent result!
Joint Status Report in Savage v. ATF filed today

ATF answers complaint in NFATCA FOIA case
Here is the ATF's answer in the NFATCA FOIA case. We are currently working on a production schedule for the ATF to produce records. They've proposed 5 (yes, FIVE) dates for production. Can there really be that many records? Only time will tell. We should have a production schedule filed tomorrow.
