Today we filed a Complaint against several defendants in Federal Court in New Jersey. Albert Almeida and Michael Tumminelli were denied permits to carry a firearm despite meeting New Jersey's high standard of "justifiable need." The Complaint is here.
On May 18, 2016, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals held that the Second Amendment does not protect a machinegun, despite the Supreme Court's holding in Heller that the Second Amendment extends, prima facie, to all bearable arms.
